Defn: a human male displaying evidence of devolution - exhibits distinctive "caveman-like" tendencies. This man often dribbles in public places; cannot drink a beverage without spilling it on himself, the floor or someone else; may also run into objects like lampposts & bushes; has a definite "sloopish & short legged" running style that is slow and low to the ground, often resulting in the dragging of knuckles.

These throwback neanderthals, along with their questionable diet, should clearly be avoided.

End of my running week

Last night did 7 miles on the Santa Fe Trail, from Woodmen Rd up past Ice Lake into the USAFA.  3 1/2 miles up and back w/ 10 x 8 second Hill Sprints on that nice hill about 1/2 way between the trailhead at Woodmen and Ice Lake.  Overall time was 1:02:15 for 7 miles.  Saw a sign posted that a section of the Santa Fe Trail has weekday closures till October.  Is open on weekends - looks like the next 2 weekends my 20 mile long runs won't be affected.
Week in review: 46 1/4 miles (including Horsetooth Half Marathon).  Running time 6 hrs, 27 mins.  1 wobbly knee.  1 tasty cupcake.
